Santa Rosa Civil Engineer Wins North Bay Forty Under Forty Award
Pete Crudo won the North Bay Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award. He was recognized in the April 15 issue of the Journal and an award ceremony held on April 17 at the SaraLee and Richards Barn at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.
When asked what projects he is most proud of, he included the Courthouse Square reunification and the Coffey Park rebuild after the Tubbs Fire in Santa Rosa. He said these are two great examples of the purpose of civil engineering, which is to create infrastructure to improve civilization.
“Being part of the teams that delivered such benefits to the community is very satisfying. Other projects I really enjoyed involved the many high school fields throughout the county our firm designed,” he said.
Pete supervises the engineering department as associate principal at Carlile Macy and is a licensed civil engineer. In addition to traditional civil engineering functions, such as site design, construction documents in grading, site development, hydrology, low-impact design, post-construction BMPs, and stormwater management, he also manages information technology for the company.
