The Preserve at Mill District

The Preserve is a 0.75-acre park in the middle of the Mill District development along Healdsburg Avenue. The park preserves a grove of mature redwoods and provides stormwater treatment for adjacent residential properties. Carlile Macy was tasked with modifying the original park master plan and preparing construction drawings. The design includes a nature-themed play area, walking paths, pedestrian security lighting, and planting and irrigation. The park began construction in January 2024 and will be completed by late summer. Working closely with our client, Carlile Macy has provided landscape architecture, civil engineering, site planning, and survey services.
