North Village Healdsburg
North Village is a 32-acre mixed-use development in the heart of the wine country. Located in the City of Healdsburg, the new neighborhood includes:
- Enso Village, a Zen-inspired senior living community
- Appellation Healdsburg Hotel, a 108-room wine-country-inspired hotel
- Boxheart Commons, a mixed-use 53-unit live/work affordable housing and retail space with a pedestrian promenade
- A 27-unit townhome community for middle-income workforce housing
North Village includes public open space, trails, a retail promenade, a connection to the Foss Creek Trail, and The Grange, a multi-functional event space. The site was formerly operated as a lumber yard and mill until 2000. In 2004, site improvements consisted of clean-up of contaminated soil, grading, drainage, and wetland mitigation in coordination with Carlile Macy in preparation for site development. In 2010, Carlile Macy supported the former owner in creating a railroad crossing at the property. In 2016, the site was purchased by Comstock Homes with visions of creating a self-sustaining community. As civil engineers and landscape architects, Carlile Macy was integral to the master planning and design.
