Once construction projects are ready to be build, our surveyors stake the property and control for improvements to facilitate actual construction. Our survey technicians provide office support for our survey field crews by calculating coordinates for project staking items and transferring the information from the desktop computer directly into handheld survey field calculators. Our surveyors help turn two-dimensional line work on improvement plan drawings into an exciting three-dimensional reality at the project site.
Utilizing our state-of-the-art equipment, we provide topographic mapping ranging from project site plans to large-scale countrywide projects. We provide photogrammetric services in association with several northern California aerial mapping firms. We provide base mapping for use in design by our own staff as well as other engineering firms. We utilize Leica System 500 Global Positioning Receivers, TOPCON Automatic Tracking Robotic Total Station, and several conventional TOPCON 300 SERIES Total Stations.
We have extensive experience in preforming surveys for improvement projects corridors such as roads, highways, pipelines and utilities. These surveys include primary control, mapping control, mapping utilities, locating existing rights-of-way and easements, and, where necessary, preparing legal descriptions and plats for property acquisition.
Our principal land surveyor oversees the preparation of record of surveys, right-of-way surveys, ALTA surveys, parcel maps, final maps, lot line adjustments, legal descriptions, public land survey retracements, and control surveys.
