POSITION SUMMARY:
Candidate shall be able to work collaboratively and provide technical leadership to a multi-discipline design team. Work independently in preparation of plans, calculations, reports, and cost estimates in support of urban redevelopment, residential and commercial projects, sports fields, and public infrastructure projects. Work includes all facets of civil engineer planning and design, including grading, wet utilities, drainage analysis, storm water treatment, and roadway improvements. Position requires strong written and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for preparation of construction improvement plans and specifications for all types of land development and public works projects.
2. Oversee and prepare feasibility, Master Plan, and design studies integral to civil land planning and design.
3. Oversee Project Construction Management such as: estimates, bidding, contractors request for information, and submittals.
4. Coordinate and process plans and studies through all relevant agency approvals “associated” with infrastructure and land development projects.
5. Responsible for reports and calculations to support project design
6. Project Management: Oversee projects with strong client communication, team collaboration and leadership, agency coordination, and project budgeting.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
1. Experienced in land development and surveying skills.
2. Proficient in AutoCAD Land Desktop 2009 & Civil 3D 2015, preferred.
3. Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
4. Competent in all aspects of project technical needs such as geotechnical, transportation, structural, and electrical, as needed.
5. Versed in permit and regulatory agency requirements
6. Good interpersonal skills working and leading project teams.
7. Prepare and interpret plans and specifications.
8. Develop and prepare comprehensive project schedules.
9. Keep accurate project records.
10. Other related duties, as assigned.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum of 3 years work experience for CIVIL ENGINEER, and 7 years work experience for SR. CIVIL ENGINEER.
2. B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
3. Registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering.
4. Experience in land development and construction project experience in civil engineering.
5. Understanding of various regulatory codes.
6. Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License.

We are recruiting a talented entry level CIVIL ENGINEER to join our team. Must have civil engineering degree or equivalent with 0 – 2 years of experience. Engineering in Training Certification, preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, work in a multi-disciplinary team environment in completion of plans, calculations, and design, using various computer aided design. Provide support to the Project Manager in public infrastructures, commercial and residential engineering,
urban redevelopment, sustainable projects, sports fields and parks, and construction services throughout the state of California. The position requires strong communication and written skills.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

POSITION SUMMARY:
This person works in a multi-disciplinary team environment as landscape architect from preliminary planning stages through construction administration. This position involves project management duties from the writing of proposals to management of budgets and personnel, including professionals from other disciplines. Client contact, management, and marketing skills are required in addition to experience with entitlements processing, resource agency permitting, landscape architectural design, and technical construction practices. Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills are required and proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and the Adobe suite are desired.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide general landscape architectural services through all phases of project design and development, ensuring the team meets quality and projects goals.
2. Work with the project team to clearly and thoroughly document the project design.
3. Sketching, rendering and graphic production of plans.
4. Large-scale land analysis.
5. Site planning, grading, planting, irrigation, design and detailing.
6. Create comprehensive landscape-based storm water management plans.
7. Design and construction document production.
8. Specification writing.
9. Writing of proposals, budgets, and scopes of work.
10. Public hearings and presentations.
11. Marketing and public relations.
12. Construction observation and administration.
13. Management of team personnel and project budgets.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
1. Strong ability to interpret and effect design direction while respecting constructability, code, and budget issues.
2. In-depth knowledge/understanding of building and zoning codes.
3. Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience.
4. Ability to oversee production and direct other team members.
5. Proficient in current version of AutoCAD.
6. Computer literacy and proficiency with Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
7. Proven technical skills are required including ability to design, organize, and prepare planting plans, irrigation plans, grading plans, and construction detailing.
8. Skills in GIS production and/or 3D modeling a plus.
9. Excellent communication, graphics, design and organizational skills required.
10. Self-starter with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously, to take initiative, to be self-directed, and to manage the work of others on the project teams.
11. Ability to build strong relationships with peers and clients.
12. Drafting and free-hand drawing ability.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. A degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university.
2. 10+ years experience in landscape architecture.
3. CA registration as landscape architect.
